Paper roses

The full blown rose and 2 rosebude are done the same way as the rose below

I tried to make a rose using grunge paper but I just did not work for me so I decided to try with plain old pearlized paper I used a cocktail stick to start and then I folded the paper so that I had lots of layers then free hand cut the shape of a petal The first one I curled round my cocktail stick then I glued all the rest of them on one at a time shaping as I went along and gluing then all together lastly I tinted the petals with metallic rub on and cut the remaining stick of I think it came out OK

Thia weeks challenge is spring all of my cards are decoupaged

Lots to do Distressed swap

I made the tags using textured gold card rubber Buffing wax all over when it dried I buffed it up added the images then lightly sanded it so it looks worn

Altered CDs for Lotstodo & All Things Crafty

I used gold mirror card for this disk .Then added Alcohol inks I used a Celtic border you will
notice I have done 4 CDs they all have a Celtic theme I added this shield and crossed swords Finishing off with cord

This is the reverse side I used a celtic symbol

This CD I started with silver card I went over it with a fine sand paper then added pouter rubbing wax and when it was dry went over again with black soot distressed inkand when it was almost dry I buffed it up and this is the result rhen I cut and decoupaged the imageand added the chain

This is the reverse side I did the same as the frount but I added some alcohol inks

The altered CDs below are my swaps I covered the CDs with silver mirror card then I used pouter wax buffing cream to age this side when it was dry I went over it with black soot distressing ink then buffed it all up then added the decoupaged image and distressed it with the same ink and added a dropper to the bottom

The reverse side I added alcohol inks then pouter wax rub when it was dry I added black soot and buffed it up and this is the result then I added my decoupage image

Alterd CD For my swap

For this CD I first coverd it eith miror card then played with Alcohol inks to get this affect

This reversr side I used the same inks but less blending fluid then added the decoupaged image

This is a Altered CD for Easter

This is the front which I decoupaged and added some beads

This is the reverse again it is decoupaged

This card is a folded card the top picture is when it is all folded ready to post and the bottom card shows it spread out I like Celtic cards for men

I used Distressed inks to colour the card then just stamped the images

A card for my box

I used a pink card then I distressed it with 2 distress inks brushed corduroy and Worn lipstick to get this effect

This book mark was I used bits

I made this book mark with the bits I had left over after making my cards

This is a 8"x 8" card for my I need a card box

For this card I simpley did mating and layrting of the image abd the birthday wishes then added the butterfly

A A4 card for my need a card box

I made this card by joining 2 A4 cards together then cutting of a piece Of the top side off added lace boader and mat and layerd the rest and decoupaged the images

This is the card opend out you cant see the folds very well it started out as a A4 card
