A taste of the orient

This is my Lotstodo challenge piece

This week it is water colour so I used H2o Paints and lots of water I used poppy red and ginger peach blended together then when it was dry I stamped my image and then mounted it on some brown card

Variations on a theme

For this cards and the cards below I used a CD to get the images and the backing papers the green card I uses has a holographic look which shines different shades of green I love it but I cant remember where I got it so if any one out there knows where I can get some more please let me know
I also used gold glitter card for mating and layering

This weeks challenge Tissue paper

This week is tissue paper For both of the pictures below I used a small canvas and inked them wit differant colouf inks then I stamped the images on tissue paper and cut closley round the images and used pva glue mixed with a little water and pasted them on giving a evan coat all over the canvases and what you see is the result

I have usrd distressing inks for the backgrounds of the Atc`s and the bacground of my tag and I also used a grung board key ans swerl then embossed with gold

My brief of this piece Was a wall hanging it must be pink and silver also use grungeboard and a word I used 2 cd`s and layered circles on top off center added butterflies and grunge board swirls and flowers and connected them with beads also added some embroidered flowers and a plaque a few bits of baling and a metal hanging piece which I added some dangling beads It is also my lotstodo challenge piece

Lotstodo Tag Swap

The subject for this swap is ART for the first tag I overlayed a stamp with acetate and used alcohol inks to form a water fall The second tag I again used acetate and played with alcohol inks to form a curvy background and added a Art Nouveau stamp the bottum tag I just played with a few coloured inks on acetate and loved how it looked it seemsa bit organic to me and added the word Art

This weeks lotstodo challenge

This weeks challenge is to use recycled things so I cut a piece if corragated cardboard and cut it into a 4x4 then inked round the edges with distressed inks then I used a piece of tisue paper out of a shoe box wet it and added cosmic shimmers then I scrunched it up and noticed that it looked like a butterfly so I shaped it a bit more and dryed it then added buttons and gold shells I found on a piece of netting and this is the result

I made this A 4 card for my young niece I firstley printed a background on to acetate then printed the fairies on some more acetate and cut them out and placed them in the glade background

Lotstodo challenge this week is Paris

I made this 9 4 9 ATC set of the things that say Paris to me I printed the large picture of tht Moulin Rouge then adden the Arc de triomphe and the other pictures thenn cut them into 9 ATC`s

This week is collage so I made 4x4`s I made acetate pictures and cut them out and also added an acetatecorners and added them so that ome bits are behind the boader and some in frount then added a flower and some bling

This weeks challenge is grungeboard or paper I had no grunge paper so I used the leftovers of some swerls I liked the shapes so I used Tim Holt inks to do the background and the shapes then edged it with a gold leaf pen I think it makes a unuseual tag
